Love and Laugh

My hubby has started to call me Stig. I am just about collecting everything. Brought these padlocks from a car boot, they must have been in a garden shed for years, full of dirt, sand and spiders. Just wanted them. Well, gonna enter this into the Artistic Stamper challenge for May .words.

Painted the padlock, complete with its rusty key,with cream and gold acrylic paints. Added some flower wire round the key, then added random Tim Holtz Tattered Florals cut out in print paper, inked with Distress Ink Vintage Photo. Made the dragon fly from another set of stamps, coloured and glossed. The words scattered with the flowers are from Indigo Blu stamp set Live.Laugh.Love.

Wanted the whole thing to feel as if they were all blowing in the wind,they move quite freely.

Tops and Tails

Made this card using an old stamp set that we have had for ages. Tops and Tails 2 from PaperArtsy. Inked all over with various Distress Inks, mixture of colours. Cut the dragonfly wings and used glossy accents and stuck on with silicone gel. Just added a few bits and pieces and layered up onto 2 colours of card.

Altered jar.

Hi to you all. Wanted to do something totally different as I get bored with cards, but have to make cards as I get lots of orders. I follow Alison Bomber also known as Butterfly and love her work. So wanted to enter a challenge where she is on the design team. So I am entering this altered jar  in the Eclectric Paperie Challenge. Altered glass bottles or jars.

This is an old Yankee Candle jar and I tend to hang onto them. Coated it with cream acrylic paint. Then just added different colours, got carried away with the acrylic paints and WOW I got paint all over my t shirt,all over my mat and my hands looked like I had gloves on......... Had some old glass outliner that was on its way out, but used this to do a random pattern on the jar, it scratched the paint off the jar but I love the effect. Added some roses that I just dabbed gold acrylic paint over. Added a tag and a brass key tied on with string. Hope you like this....

Little Claire's stamp.

 

Hello to you all. Love it when we have a Bank Holiday.  Made this card using stamps from Little Claire.  Used it on alot of my orders the last few weeks. Just layered up with pastel card and coloured the image with pastel coloured pro markers. I

Hi everyone. Not been on here for a while. Hubby had a big birthday and we had 5 fabulous days in Paris. We loved it. We have been so busy with things and orders. Got so much inspiration and hopefully will share lots of projects.

Made this 6x4 canvas a little picture. Used cream acrylic all over and then edged with Distress Ink. Punched the hearts out, stuck them on, then went over with the paint to give them texture. Added little message with two screw brads.

Hi to you all. My hubby had a big birthday last week and I paid for him to craft for the day at Snazzys. He loved it, pop over to his blog Andrews stamping pad(see my sidebar)to see what he made. I had a go at a smaller canvas and did a different take on his. Used a 12x12 paper and cut the tags out. The canvas was stressed with paints and inks? Hope you like this but not gonna go on about this as this is not my idea,but really enjoyed doing it.

Hi to you all. Have got lots of MDF hearts so have tried to use them up. Covered this in print paper and distressed with TIm Holtz Vintage Photo. Use this colour a lot. Just stamped and added bits and pieces. Just used scraps of papers that I had,cutting postage stamps out. Inked a paper flower. Added twine and some gold chain.
