Shopping sins

Hi everyone. Even though I love Christmas I do love to get back to normal. Normal means our dining room table is now covered in crafts!! Have been having a real play with different things and really been enjoying getting so messy. My New Year I have promised myself to enter more challenges. So this is the first one of the year..

Entering this little jar into http://ourcreativecorner6.blogspot.co.uk/2014/01/no-more-shopping-sins.htmlShopping sinsWe all have shopping sins so this was easy for me. When I first started crafting peel offs and rub ons were big business as craft stuff was very limited back then! So my shopping sin is a sheet of rub on letters and words.

I put the letters on the bottom of the jar, rubbed over with cream acrylic paint, gold gilding wax to give a bit of texture to the letters. Just highlighted the letters with a black pro-marker so that they didn't vanish all together. Made some paper roses and added bits and pieces. Hope you like this little creation......

  2. What a beautifully decorated jar for your buttons! I've got mine in a box with no see through - I think I'll borrow your idea to make a jar of my buttons - just have to wait for my jam jars to be emptied!
